Tasting Notes

Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 12
(30% vendange entier): Medium-red. Aromas of dark cherry, minerals, licorice and smoke; much more soil-driven than the Greves. Ripe and deep, with a saline quality to the mineral, mocha and chocolate flavors. Nicely concentrated, sweet Beaune wine with the lush texture of the year. This has turned out well.
